If anyone asks who Sarah is we all know just what to say to point her out - she's the gal with the moves! Whether it's dropping a nickel in the pot, dancing a jig, or knitting that sweater by the fireside, Sarah always adds her own special flair to the bass section!
In real life, Sarah is a mechanical engineer. Besides singing and engineering, she loves the excitement of traveling and the super adrenaline rush that is... Grandparents Camp! What an ingenious idea for spending a wonderful week or so with your 3 young grandsons each summer!
I can only imagine that grandparents' camp surely must involve her favorite food (and mine). Whatever could that be, you ask? ..."duh, chocolate!" she replies. And maybe also her favorite color - green grass for playing on, green trees for climbing ...
In addition to all of that, she and her husband have had some remodeling projects that kept them pretty busy lately.
Sarah has actually been a member of the chorus more than once. She was originally invited by a friend. She is particularly partial to singing "Orange Colored Sky," but she says that what she enjoys most about the chorus is "the support of so many strong women." I think everyone would agree with that insight!
